Tim and Sherry Campbell came to Grace Church of Lakeland in November 2014 from the St. Louis area. Tim led a church-plant in the Chicago suburbs and has served in other leadership capacities.
Tim brings over 35 years of ministry experience in both pastoral and Christian organizational leadership.
Tim attended Elim Bible Institute and Columbia International University. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Ministries and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies.
Tim also serves as a volunteer chaplain with the Polk County Sheriff's Department.
Sherry has over 30 years of varied music ministry experience. She teaches elementary music for a local Christian school.
They both understand the challenges that life can bring to marriages and families. They have 5 grown children ranging from 18 to 25 and six grandchildren. They also have two very spoiled dogs, Mickey and Roxy.

Bible Translation Preferences: I teach from the English Standard Version. The ESV has become a standard and reliable version that many evangelical ministries have adopted. I still am partial to the NIV and use it with the ESV in preaching. I also love the New Living Translation, especially when reading the Old Testament.
